Went here for my husband's 30th and it was fantastic! Our server Hayes was wonderful and very helpful with recommending drinks and food. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant. And it's no wonder why their she crab soup is award winning, it was mouth watering!! We'd go back here in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

A good choice for a cheery old-world, meat-eater's holiday dinner and drinks. I recommend the she-crab soup first, then scallops or prime rib. I'm planning to return next Friday -wild game night- for some venison tenderloin. I don't know of another local restaurant that offers it!

I was there during the Christmas season. It was beautiful and unique inside. The food and service were nice too.

Questions & Answers

Yeah! It would be nice if they allow him and others to investigate. I'm about to send them a message when I saw yours ?

Leaving him a tip and a note thanking him would be a great start in addition to posting a 5 star review.

They have accommodated me with 3 days in advance, same day reservations, and just showing up with a large party. I think as a matter of conveinence for your party, and any restaurant, making a reservation for large party is a good idea. Freemason Abbey is an extremely popular restaurant so I think it's best to call and make reservations.

No dress code, but we do require masks to be seated and move around the restaurant

Yes they are.

Yes

I know they send it to your table.

We no longer serve lobster in the restaurant on any day. It was a special we had on Wednesdays for $16; a lobster tail paired with a choice of seafood. Due to the price and lack of consistency of the quality, we had to change our special to Seafood Pairings on Wednesdays, which is your choice of two seafoods (out of a list of seven seafoods) for $17, which comes with smashed potatoes and vegetable medley. The Seafood Pairings menu is available on our website at www.freemasonabbey.com We have military discounts for active duty and retired military; 10% off entrees.

No you shouldn't need one unless I have something special going on. If it's your first time there I always like eating upstairs the view is very nice

It's pretty empty during the day, would call during peak dinner hours though.
